About me (& what I bring to the table)

I am a Level Design student from TGA, with a knack for Technical Level Design, Visual Scripting in blueprints and taking projects from ideas through concepts to full-fledged experiences.

I thrive in a collaborative environment, where teamwork and communication take center stage.

Having completed two full educations in game development, I feel more ready than ever to get my hands dirty working on projects with the intent to make the world a little bit more fun.

What I will bring to your table is threefold:

– Mainly, I will bring the motivation to make whatever project that I work on the best that it can be, whatever it may be. I strive to absorb as much information as I can, and apply it to the extent it fits, making sure that I add a flare from my own creativity to make it a memorable experience for the player.

– Secondly, I will share my ideas back to you where the opportunity fits, as I wish to be not just an extra pair of hands, but a part of the team. I believe this is integral for me to be able to improve as much as possible not only as a level designer, but as a team player and coworker as well.

– Lastly, I want to apply my technical inclination as much as possible, always looking for ways to improve the workflow and doing the job as effectively as possible – While I will pull my weight and likely just a little bit more, I see truth in “Work smart, not hard”.

Short background (& interests)

My gaming career began early, playing Red Alert 2 with my dad and being amazed by the very realistic graphics at around 6 years old. Around that time, I also fell in love with Runescape, making incredibly slow progress but having an absolute blast doing it. With mom as my translator, the quests were a breeze.

Fast forward to junior high, me and my friends started with DotA 2, a game which I now according to Steam have spent almost 10 000 hours playing – a game which has allowed me to stay close to many of the people I started out with, despite no longer going down the same path in life.

I enjoy pretty much all sports, with floorball taking the top spot, having been part of a team for over a decade. While I no longer play in a team, I find few things more fun than teaming up and taking part in a game regardless of what sport it is.

In october of 2024 I started dancing bachata, and I am absolutely in love with it, looking forward to Sundays' practice every day of the week.

I am part of The Game Assembly’s internship program. As per the agreement between the Games Industry and The Game Assembly, neither student nor company may be in contact with one another regarding internships before April 23rd. Any internship offers can be made on May 5th, at the earliest.
